At Lindleywood we design and hand-make original, fun wooden bird boxes and other products for home and garden. We also use only British suppliers; so we buy our sustainable European redwood pine from a local wood-merchant and use hardwearing non-toxic wood paints from an independent UK manufacturer.

Our products are often in the national media, such as on ITV's Love Your Garden and The Alan Titchmarsh Show. They make ideal gifts for all occasions where you want to give something that's well-made and unique.

Littleworks Creative

Littleworks Creative offers little works of art by Tamara Williams. She makes her unique pieces using plaster to cast both intaglio and relief plates. Each cast is unique, since no two castings are the same. Even colours can change due to the plaster baking the surface and altering the stability of the inks..Tamara's exquisite artworks always start with a drawing - and much of her inspiration comes from plants. Each plaster tile is air-dried, mounted and framed, and frames are hand-painted. Works are made to order and colours can be specified. Prices from £65

Chandelier made from old kitchen utensils by Madeleine Boulesteix

Madeleine Boulesteix

Madeleine is based in South London and South Devon

I’ve been making chandeliers using recycled materials for over 20 years. It started after finding 40 faceted glass drops in some rubbish. I wanted to make myself a chandelier that looked opulent but was made from humble objects. I found metal kitchen items for the structure at car boot sales and scrap yards. They seem nice jaunty objects with more potential so I liberate them from their domestic duties by incorporating them into my chandeliers. I love thrift and the challenge of re-using.
