Woven Image is an Australian company that manufactures innovative surface coverings and textiles. One of its key products is its award-winning EchoPanel, a versatile eco-friendly acoustic material made from 60 per post consumer recycled plastic bottles and 40 per cent virgin PET, and which is 100 per cent recyclable.
Available in different thicknesses (7,12 and 24mm) and lots of designs and colours, EchoPanel is a fun, modern material can be used in myriad ways in residential, office and contract interiors - as wall cladding, space dividers, decorative designs, desk dividers or indeed as artwork. I enjoy creating playful compositions from everyday observation of objects and places. Table top vistas, memories of places and people, they all flow into my mind as I paint. Vessels, jugs and pots of flowers, windows and views from inside to outside are favourite and recurrent themes.
Bird forms, for me a symbol of the creative spirit, also inhabit my imagination and my work. Strong design and expressive colour, simplification and decorative reorganisation of the facts are all used to explore these subjects. Through my paintings I hope to share with you what I see and also how my imagination is sparked by my observations.

The Strathearn Gallery is a fabulous contemporary art gallery in Crieff, set up in 1994 and run by Susan Bennett. The gallery is well known for exhibiting original work from leading Scottish artists as well as supporting new and up-and-coming artists. The gallery sells a mouth-watering selection of applied art including ceramics, glass, sculpture and jewellery at prices ranging from £50 into the hundreds - if you're looking for a special present for someone, this gallery will be the place to find it. It's also a member of the Own Art scheme which allows you to pay a deposit plus 10 monthly payments when buying a piece of art that could max out the credit card... Lovely, friendly, helpful knowledgeable staff.
